Well if you've looked on my blog since April 11th you'd know i haven't posted anything up. My camera is lost and a have had a busy summer..Over the next week or two i will have summaries about summer break and other things hopefully done. Sadly i might only have my swim pictures up form this whole summer...I need my camera back :( Anyways I doubt the delay could get much bigger than what it already is. Sorry bout that.

Swim begins!

A few weeks after school was out swim season began. John (our coach) is an Olympic swimmer. Our swimming team is made up of over 60 kids. I know it is pretty small, but we are good for small numbers. Everyday we get to practice at 6:55 am and start practice at 7:00 am and go until 8:00 am. This summer was a very busy summer. We had swim meets every weekend except one. Some of our meets were in Mesquite and the temperature outside was over 114 degrees. Me and Kristen decided to cook frozen burritos in the dashboard of our truck. We wrapped them in tin foil and a few hours later they were steaming hot :) anyways here are a few pictures of the first few meets.

End of the School Year

The last few weeks of school in Fredonia were the funnest weeks of the semester. Besides having to do End of year terms, We usually would play Rockband, Guitar Hero World Tour, and Halo. The teachers were a bit more laid back than usual which is always good :) The last week of school, we had a Barbecue and a huge water fight and field day. Everyone started the last day of school with a Assembly for awards and stuff. Boring of course..lol but what award assembly is really fun? The seniors were given scholarships and then the rest of the awards were passed out. (the usual routine right?) I got Spanish Student of the year, Geometry student of the year, and got high honor roll with a 4.0 GPA. Anyways we got our yearbooks after that and went around signing them..everyone's favorite part... Then we had an egg toss, and a few other events..Then came the real trouble..at lest for the freshman..See there were tons of water balloons left from water balloon tosses and the freshman looked liked they needed a good splash. So as usual we freshman were hunted down with water balloons and buckets full of water..I was drenched head to toe after that, but so were a few seniors, sophomores, and juniors. When 4:00 came around everyone left and that was the end of school..at least for most people.

Friday-Saturday was our Easter camp out and family reunion. Everyone had a very fun time even with the rain :) For Mary B and Bob along withe their family, Ben and Jill and theri family, and Serena and Blake with theirs we would like to say Happy Easter and we missed you guys.

Lissa's B-day

Alyssa turned 11 today and she is having a great day. She was so excited when she got a sketch pad and basketball.

Shayla's Birthday

Shayla's birthday was today and she turned 4. My mom, Lissa, and I went up to the house to decorate while Shayla was with my dad and Caleb. She loved the balloons we tied together. After cake and ice cream we took all of the balloons and let them go in the wind.

We all went up to the old coral and had lunch up there. we all got to ride to 4 wheeler up there as well. It was a real blast and everyone enjoyed getting out and going exploring.

Pooka

On Saturday, March 21, 2009 our loved dog Pooka was hit by a car and passed away. We all miss her very much. She was Caleb's birthday present when he turned 7 years old. Pooka was 6 years old when she died. 4 years ago Pooka had 10 puppies and 4 passed away within the next few days. Here are some pictures of her, us, and some of her puppies.

On Monday, March 16, 2008 our Great Grandpa Carr passed away. We all miss him very much but we know he's happy where he is.
