Well hello Arizona!

Can I just say that I was so excited to come to Arizona? Not only was all my family going to be there, but the weather was also really warm! And I got to see my horse again! And my cat! When I was down there on Friday, I mostly visited with my Aunts and Uncles, Grandparents, and my immediate family. Saturday morning I was awoken by my cousin Andrea. It was her 18th birthday and she wanted to go horseback riding. I was completely happy with that so we saddled up MarcoBars (my horse) and Brandy (Guy's horse). Guy, ended up saddling up Tuff, his other horse and riding with us for a while. Brandy was being a bit obnoxious and so I rode her while Andrea rode my horse MaroBars. We went over to my grandparents house where I gave all the little cousins rides on the horse for a while. After that, we went riding all the way into town and back home again. All in all, it took us about 5-6 hours..Little did I know I got fried! Oh well! It hurt a TON, but not much we could do about it. I spent Sunday with family and that was nice. Monday, I went back up to Rexburg. I did not enjoy the cold weather that greeted me, but I was happy to be back.

Happy New Years

Well 2012k it's been one heck of a year. Loved you, but glad you're over. 2013 here I come! Happy New Years!
 ~~~
Anyways,
New Years Eve was pretty amazing. I was picked up for the New Years Eve Dance by Kyle,  my younger cousin who wanted to escort someone so he could ride in the limo with the rest of the people with escorts. The limo, made for 6, was filled with about 12 or 13 of us. It was a little bit crowed. However, it was pretty awesome. The dance was kind of slow at first with no one dancing, but eventually it picked up and everyone was out dancing. I got to hang out with a lot of people that I hadn't been able to in a long time which made it better. After the dance a group of us went over to my cousin Andrea's house where we played Just Dance 4 for a couple of hours and then watched the movie 2012. That allowed me to finally scratch 'Watch 2012 in 2013' off my list since we watched it at 2 am on New Years. Overall, pretty awesome night.
Journey Home
I arrived in Fredonia on Sunday in the evening. It was so nice to be home, but I had many adventures on the way home. I was able to stay with my cousin Bronwen over the weekend and it was such a blast! We went horseback ridding, did some shopping (during the time I found a Jelly Bean section...Yummy!!), went out to eat, watched movies til way late, hung out with friends and so many other things. Thanks for the fun time!
When arriving at home one of the first things I noticed were the Christmas decorations all over the house. Now, my mom usually goes all out for Christmas (It's amazing, I love it!) but this year she went above and beyond. She did such an amazing job! We have a banana plant in our house at the moment and she even wrapped it in Christmas lights! Pictures will follow of course!
Within the next few days, my brother and sister had a band concert. They did a good job in it! Our school (Not exactly the best at anything. With only 60 something students in the High School all together, what's to be expected?) just required new band uniforms for concerts and I had a huge laugh at them and was enjoying it so much I put it on and took a picture. So below is a picture of me and then of my sister with her friend Jaicee.
Also this week,  I got a haircut and so did my mom. In the picture I have it is curled, so you can't tell all that much. The main thing we did is just adding layers. Anyways it has been an adventure being home and with Christmas just a few days away, everyone is so excited!
 Today I was able to go to St. George with my sister, cousins, and mom. I had such a fun time. We went to a few stores and then went to Panda Express which was just fantastic. I love Chinese food! Following Panda Express, we went to Wal-Mart where we ran into another group of friends. It has just been such a great week I can't even put it all into words. This is me signing out until next time!
Thanksgiving in Fredonia!!
Last week I was able to go down to Fredonia to visit my family. On the way to Kanab from Provo Tuesday we hit a deer. Car is banged up and other than some whiplash and bruises we are all fine. With our car being out of action my Uncle Ben and Aunt Jill let us use their car for the week.
Wednesday I got to catch up with all my friends which was pretty fun. Towards the end of the day, me, Caleb, and Alyssa went out to the old corral to go shooting. We saw a cottontail on the way out but didn't get a shot. We didn't see anything after that. Had a fun time shooting targets though.
Thursday came and what do you know, it is Thanksgiving! The one thing I love most of all about Thanksgiving is everyone coming together and the food. It was so nice to see everyone there.
Friday was my dad's birthday. I know this is late, but I want to give a shout out: Happy Birthday Daddy! Love you tons!
My mom, Alyssa, and I went over to my grandma's house Friday morning and did a few crafts for a couple hours. Made some bracelets and earrings. Later that day Caleb, Alyssa, and I went shooting again. It was fun like usual. We went out to Cottontail Canyon this time. After coming back from shooting, me, mom, and Alyssa went to the store and got a movie and a few things for my dad. It was his birthday after all. :] We watched X Men First Class. Pretty good movie.
Saturday came and it was time to get ready for family pictures. When we were all ready we went to the photographer's studio and ended up going to an abandoned house to take our pictures. I'm super excited to see how they turned out. From being there, I'm sure they were great :]
Anywho, I had to leave that night and so I packed my bags and then hit the road for Provo with my Uncle Ben. Made it to my cousin Bronwen's house around midnight. I got to visit with them for a while so that was nice. Woke up and got ready to leave. My Uncle Bake drove me to my cousin Sam's house where my friend Brennin picked me up and we headed back to Rexburg. Made it to the apartment at about 3:30 that afternoon which worked out well.
Since then I've had most of my classes, got homework done in time, but haven't been able to complete my rough draft for my research paper yet. Hopefully I can finish it by Friday for class. I think as long as I finish my outline, resources, and a few other small things I should be ok since we are working on our rough drafts in class. Oh well :]
Fencing has been going really well. It is only my second week, but I am really loving it. You wouldn't believe how much you actually have to work in order to do things correctly. We actually took a group picture this week and so I'm glad that I joined before it was taken.
Well, enough procrastination..I must get back to my research paper on cloning and Genetically Modified Organisms. Until next time!
So close!
Wow, time flies huh? Next week is Thanksgiving! Oh, and we cannot forget my daddy's birthday!! Love You dad!
Everything has been going well here at BYU-I. It has snowed a few times and is going to snow a lot more, but hey, it isn't all that bad. I'll take is with a skip in my walk and a smile on my face, because who knows, maybe it will be great!
Midterms have been over for a while. They were alright I suppose, but hey no big deal. All I have to do is try my best, and I know I can do better, so that's what I plan to do. With classes, I only have about 3 more times of my writing foundations class, but quite a few more for my other classes. They have all been going well. Grades are getting higher. Steady but slow. That's not bad though, that's how the tortoise won the race, right? Oh, in my BOM class we are just finishing up 3 Nephi, but I just finished 4th Nephi. (Not that much further I know, but hey, it's progress) I'm pretty excited about it. If I keep it up, I will have the Book of Mormon finished before I am out for Christmas!!
This past week we had an Iron Chef competition between the La Jolla Apartments and their FHE groups. We didn't place, but I thought we did an amazing job! It was super fun which is the whole point in doing it in the first place. Besides that, here is a run down since I last posted. My amazing parents came to visit me here in rexburg! I had such a great time with them! And I get to see everyone in less than 5 days!!
Anywho, I went to a Halloween concert last month, been to Kiwi Loco a few times, spent time with friends, went on 2 dates, flew paper airplanes off the stadium, ran around in the snow, sat in the apartment and had huge Nintendo 64 tournaments, studied, a lot, read some great books, planned out my winter semester, created a DeviantART account, made some new backgrounds, watched some new movies, talked to my family tons,and you know, everything else.
Day 2!
Well yesterday all the Freshman and transfer students continued with Get Connected and went through seminars all day. Everyone met in the Hart Auditorium to learn about the Spirit of Ricks. What surprised us all is that when we entered, there was music and strobe lights going all around. The bass was turned up enough that you could feel it. It was pretty fun. The two that were in charge of teaching us kept the meeting going well. Switching to funny things to spiritual things, it kept everyone's interest. Later that day, everyone was able to go around the campus to meet up with students majoring in similar fields. We then had the professors come and tell us about the majors and answered questions. This was a really great experience. Following that, we all met in the BYU-Idaho Center Courts for a BBQ lunch. We were all on our own for dinner and Jordan, my roommate made dinner. She is such a good cook! After dinner, my cousin Trevor R, came by and said hi. Ending the day was the New Student Talent Show! Entering the building they were hosting it, we got another dose of shock. (Well at least I did) They had the music going again, with the Disco Ball hanging down, the strobe lights, black lights, etc. going throughout the room! It was a pretty great experience. Everyone in the New Student Talent Show did so well! We are so grateful to be able to partake in their talents. I challenge all you out there to continue to increase your talents and share them with others. I know that if you do this, not only will you be blessed for it, but other will be as well.
Off to BYU-I!!
Well I finally made it to BYU-I today and boy let me tell you, its great. Went around the campus to go get a few things done with my parents today. Being that today was move-in day there were tons of parents and students. It is actually pretty warm up here for right now which surprised me. Not too bad at night so far though. Anyways, later today my parents, Bronwen, and I went out to go eat dinner. That was pretty good. Following dinner, I arrived at my apartment and found that two of my roommates were there. (Up until this point I hadn't seen anyone.) Then I introduced myself and tried to figure out if I had too many kitchen appliances before my parents went home. (At this point they left. Miss you guys!) Only a few things were taken home with my parents. Other than food and kitchen appliances I am unpacked and mostly moved in. Tonight all the Freshman and transfer students got together for an I-team activity night. We did tons of games which were super fun and then they turned the music up and we all danced along. So tonight ended up as a huge dance. Glad I went :] Anyways, this was my first day at BYU-I. I'll make sure to keep up to date. Here are some pictures of all my stuff before I headed out and my room. Don't worry, there will be plenty of pictures to be posted. This is all that I have right now.
