Books I've read with my Reviews:

-Matched *****
Matched was an amazing book that keeps you reading until the very last pages. Like the Hunger Games, there is an overall government that controls the population. Everyone in the Society obeys the Officials no matter what. They know what is best, there has never been any reason to doubt this, until now. What will happen when the Officials go too far? Read this amazing installment by Allie Condie for a suspenseful story laced with romance, rebellion, and betrayal.

-Illusions (Wings #3) ****
Laurel begins school once more in her human high school and everything is going well until an unexpected person shows up in the foreign exchange program. As the days go by Laurel begins to watch the new foreign exchange student more closely. There is something off about her but what is it? This book has you guessing until the very end. Full of heartbreak, compassion, romance, it is the best in the series yet.

-The Awakened (The Awakened #1) *****
Just finished this book! It has been such a long time since I've read anything and this was just the book to bring me back. Suspicion, betrayal, confusion, this book has it all. Read for a real mind worker and a great adventure.

-Clockwork Angel(The Infernal Devices #1)*****
If you loved the Mortal Instruments then you will love the Infernal Devices, the prequel to the Mortal Instruments. Tessa Gray, a young woman, leaves for England after her guardian dies. When she arrives in England expecting her brother, she finds herself being taken away to the household of the Dark sisters, a pair of warlocks working for the mysterious Magister of the Pandemonium Club. While being held by the Dark sisters, Tessa finds out that she can do something no one else can, transform into another person. Tessa ends up finding herself escaping the Dark Sisters with two Shadowhunters, Will and Jem, who she falls for. Throughout this book, the suspense never lessens, the mystery only gets stronger. Those you thought you could trust become suspects. Who can be trusted and who will betray you? This exciting story is a must read for anyone.

-Wings (#1) *****
In Wings, there is the big controversy between the faeries world, Avalon and the human society. Laurel, who ended up being a scion (faeries sent to live with humans), didn't know what she was until a mysterious bump appeared on her back one morning. Getting away from the confusion, she went to a forest near her old home and meets Tamani who explains what she is. The best thing about this book is that you figure out what Laurel is as she does, no warning before hand. The revelation of what she is is drawn out for a while, leaving time for you to assume what she is. Great book, full of surprises. Will keep you reading to the last page.

-Spells (Wings #2) ***
A great book following Wings. We get to read about Avalon in this book so that was a bonus to the story. We see more of Tamani and get to see his life in Avalon and learn more about Laurel's past. There is however, a lot of Tamani and Laurel controversy in this book as well as David. This is why the book isn't as good as was expected. Too many fights between the three of them, a lot of hurt feelings and confusion. Still, it was good read.

-City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments #1) *****
Excellent story. The City of Bones was full of twists and turns. New outlook on supernaturals and demons. I highly recommend to those who enjoy creatures from demons to vampires to warlocks to half angel half human Shadowhunters. Has a great amount of action as well as a hint of romance.

-City of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments #2) ****
This book was both one of my favorites in the series and most despised. Clary and Jace newly found out brother and sister are faced with the challenge of Valentine, their father who seems to be the cause of downworlder deaths. To make matters worse, the Inquisitor has come down to investigate the Lightwood family and Clary. Simon, only a mundane when this story began, becomes a vampire, complicating things further. Jace is faced with the decision of betraying the Clave and Clary or helping Valentine. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat to the very last page.

-City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments #3) ****
Best of the Mortal Instruments series. Full of surprises and betrayal. Suspenseful all the way through. Clary, and Jace together alongside Clary's mother discover things that are worth rejoicing about, however, they run into things that bring sheer horror. Highly Recommend.

-City of Fallen Angels (The Mortal Instruments #4) **
The City of Fallen Angels is the worst book out of the series so far. Not at all what I expected. This book was just a run on from the previous 3 books. So far, it has done an excellent job at making everything more confusing. Parts of it was easily predicted. With that all aside though, there were some good qualities to it. They involved more of Simon, Maia, and brought in Kyle/Jordan (Maia's ex-boyfriend and the one who Changed her). Camille, the vampire mentioned in the first book of the Infernal Devices: Clockwork Angel, was included and had a large part in the book. Overall, this book wasn't bad enough that I won't continue reading the series. There was positive parts to the book.

-Shiver (The Wolves of Mercy Falls #1) *****
Loved this book. Werewolves in Mercy Falls? Yes! The different POV's were a great part of the book. You are not seeing this book just from one perspective. You get so much more out of the story. The book keeps the reader intrigued the whole time. As Sam grows closer to Grace and the winter season begins, he fights even more to keep himself human. But will he succeed? Great book for those who enjoy young-adult/urban fantasy novels.

-Linger (The Wolves of Mercy Falls #2) ****
Linger was a fairly good novel. In the first book, they fight to keep Sam human, and in the second book, its Grace's turn to be worried. She ends up becoming very sick with something no one knows anything about. A new wolf, Cole, stuck up but brilliant just might find the answer Grace needs. But will it be in time?
Linger is a step up from Shiver. In some ways, much better, in others..well not so much. It is defiantly a good read. Any person out there who likes a good werewolf story with romance will love this!

-Fallen (Fallen, #1) ****
The storyline was defiantly not what I expected. Daniel and Cameron were mysterious characters and you slowly learn more and more about them. Lucinda's nagging feeling about having previously met Daniel kept me guessing about the true nature of Daniel. What is he? A vampire, just an immortal, something else entirely? There was that slight hint about him that made him supernatural. It kept me reading until the last page!

-Inkheart (Inkheart, #1) *****
Better than I thought it would be. It is a dream I've always had to go into books, and in Inkheart they do just that. There is tons of adventure, mystery, and suspense. Defiantly different from all the other books I've read.

-Airman ****
Airman turned out to be completely different than what I expected. Great book, lots of adventure, suspense and even a hint of romance. Recommend to most.

-My Antonia ***
At first, the book went slow and didn't really grab my attention. Once it picked up the pace the book was great. Had great insight and an excellent story.

-Frankenstein **
Not a bad book overall.. It defiantly isn't a happy story, but it has good lessons in it. It gives a view of what could happen to someone who tries to play God. This wouldn't be a book I would read again though.

-The Rime of the Ancient Mariner *****
Loved this! The Rime of the Ancient Mariner has excellent imagery throughout the whole poem. Great storyline even with the slight depressing stanzas. Everyone should read/listen to this at least once.. It's a classic.
